Submission Guidelines

Topics :

Topics shall be in the field of Economy, Law and/or Doctrine, Politics, Anthropology, Comparative Studies. In any of the field of research or interest, the contribution must necessarily deal with New-Caledonia and/or the South Pacific present situation. They shall take the form of:

  • Completed research papers in any of the topic areas listed above or closely related areas.
  • Case studies in any of the topic areas listed above or related areas, jurisprudence or doctrine.
  • Work-in-Progress Reports or ideas for future research in order to generate discussion and feedback in any of related areas.  
  • Reports on issues related to a specific topic listed above.
  • Reports related to innovative techniques or research related to any of the topic areas listed above or related areas.

 

All contributions submitted and accepted in response to the call will reflect the following criteria for evaluation:

  • Originality of ideas;
  • Relevance to the geographic area and time issue;
  • Clarity of presentation;
  • Contribution to the advancement of thoroughly treated ideas;

 

Draft Abstract Submission :

Should you be willing to answer favorably to our call, please send a draft abstract of completed or proposed research in any of the given topic areas listed above, or related areas. The draft abstract should be up to 300 words long and include:

  • The research objectives,
  • Proposed methodology
  • Expected outcomes.

A survey of existing actuarial literature on the subject (title and abstract of a maximum of the five most relevant papers) will be appreciated.

 

Completion date :

As proposals are accepted on a rolling admission basis, accepted contributions will be now considered for 2018 and 2019 publication.

 

Final paper :

The final paper shall be under 50.000 characters inclusive of tables, spaces, notes.

It will mention: name, surname, mail address, title of article and abstract.

 

Conditions of acceptance :

  • All articles are published in French. Consequently, if submitted in English, they will necessarily require further time for translation.
  • Manuscripts submitted will be deemed as they have not been published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Previous presentation at a conference, or publication in another language, should be disclosed.
  • If accepted, a manuscript must not be proposed for any other publication without the consent of RJPENC who might authorize so after its publication in the Review.
  • All submissions will be peer reviewed and acceptance/rejections is based on their relevance to the RJPENC objectives. Each paper will be screened by the RJPENC Board, to assure its quality of exposition and relevance. The Board may require further rewriting of the paper to bring it to an acceptable standard. Notification on acceptance will be sent promptly after the submissions have been received.
  • When ready, the final article is send by mail to the author who will return it with corrections, if any, within 8 days maximum. Failing that, no correction will be made.
  • Contribution are deemed to reflect the opinions of their authors but will not be accepted if unduly aggressive or controversial.
  • Texts must comply with the aims, objectives and goals of the RJPENC.
  • The RJPENC Board reserves the right to refuse submission.

 

Copyright Transfer:

Once any manuscript is selected for publication in Revue Juridique, Politique et Economique de Nouvelle-Calédonie, the authors must submit copyright transfer document to RPJENC.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that nothing in their papers infringes any existing copyright. If previously copyrighted material is included, authors must provide evidence that the copyright holder has given permission for its use. The authors are requested to verify the manuscripts before submission to curtail any future infringement claims.
